Ohhhh Russell

I've had Russell in bed with me... well ok so I've been reading his Booky Wook 2 (in bed). Completely wordy, true Russell style, but it's good. I was a bit worried after reading the first book that I wouldn't think he was as funny, but not so, his naughtiness is hard to resist!

I got a beautiful card and eyeshadow from Sportsgirl in the post today! (Super excited about the Sportsgirl part because we don't have it in NZ!) A super neat way to end a Wednesday! Thank you pretty girl!

Ok, so these are all food pics, but they have the coolest little apartment, and the most gorgeous daughter called Elinor. I am totally in love. I went to see my first open home on Sunday, was a cute little apartment all painted white, but just lacking in character. Exciting it was!!! All the potential... and now all the inspiration I have found from this blog!

A Weekend For Mum

Because it was mum's birthday on the weekend we decided to have a bit of fun...

Starting with birthday morning tea doughnuts!

...with cream

...and chocolate

And ending with an empty punch bowl! (and a wee bit of hula!)

Tropical Luau punch: Dry ginger ale, orange juice, pineapple juice, lemonade oh and vodka! I also added sliced lemon, lime and oranges as well as some pineapple, strawberries and mint leaves to finish. I am definitely adding this to the chocolate brownie list!

So I found this beautiful Japanese tape when I was in Wellington. (And I had to have it!)

Well that was ridicu-larse

Hello you, I'm back!

Here are some pics from a fabulous weekend in Chillington.

Stayed with friends in their beautiful (almost) seaside house. It was a weekend complete with shopping, coffee drinking and even a sleep in and time to enjoy Russell (by enjoying Russell of course I mean reading his book 'My Booky Wook' - the rest is just in my head!)

Please excuse the lack of posts and blog header (for now) ... change is good!

And I had this cute little journal made for me from the Felt website. A great place to find New Zealand art. You choose the title and colour, and then have your very own customised journal!
